So obviously don't use obviously unreasonable about of force and don't put screwdriver under anything to use it as leverage. If you have to do any of that, then you aren't doing something right, or at least didn't, if CPU got stuck. As for cooler, wiggle it a bit before pulling it off, maybe turn PC on to heat up thermal paste to make it softer, or use dental floss to "cut" thermal paste. But only thing you can accidentally do is pulling CPU out of socket on AMD side. But this on picture does require quite a bit of force. Serge Nekipelov This reminds me of the videos about Socket replacements when the Pins are broken and can't be bent back. Desolder the socket, and solder the New one onto it. There is too less knowledge about this type of repair. Dan Morrison Not the end of the world. The CPU looks fine (LGA CPUs are pretty robust) The motherboard is a total write off, but motherboards are typically much cheaper than the CPU. This one looks either particularly cheap or possibly expensive if it’s a specialized server board (but still relatively cheap compared to the CPU) Crystal Howell Mr Stark, i dont feel so good Sabre Abuhania its a old dell board from an optiplex Get link Facebook X Pinterest Email Other Apps Comments
