1. No one is picking on Romanians for having plastic bags... how would something like that even get associated with one nationality? 2. Most homes have a bunch of plastic bags that they use when they need one. 3. It's not good for the planet, using regular bags is good for the planet but using plastic bags is terrible for the planet.

Nope, it is common to reuse them (I. E. As trash bags) BUT it's not good for the environment. We are using "Jutebeutel" - fabric made bags which are used throughout generations
